The Associated Students Program Board (ASPB) is seeking staff interested in serving as Event Ambassadors for our annual Block Party concert on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Block Party will take place from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM on the HUB Lawn, with event entrances located on Pierce Lawn.
Event Ambassadors are UCR staff who proudly support university-wide events outside of their normal work. They will primarily support attendee-facing areas, including:
- Swiping R’Cards and verifying student eligibility
- Checking event wristbands
- Supporting entrance and line management
- Assisting with Guest Services
Available Event Ambassador Times:
- 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
- 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Participation is optional. Staff who serve as Event Ambassadors should coordinate with their supervisor on schedule adjustments in accordance with campus policy. If you are interested but only available for a portion of the event, please indicate your availability when registering.
